Alex and all of us at Team Albon would like to send our best wishes to everyone celebrating Songkran!

As the Thai New Year begins today, we hope that you enjoy the festivities — and have a happy, healthy and prosperous 12 months ahead.

Songkran is perhaps best known for the water fights and parties that take place across Thailand, so do enjoy the celebrations if you're out and about over the next few days.

But it has a deeper cultural significance too, of course, so we want to wish you all the best if you're observing the traditional practices of Songkran this Thai New Year.

เทศกาลสงกรานต์เป็นเทศกาลที่มีชื่อเสียงที่สุดในประเทศไทยเนื่องจากมีการเล่นน้ำและปาร์ตี้ต่างๆ ทั่วประเทศ ดังนั้นหากคุณออกไปข้างนอกในช่วงไม่กี่วันข้างหน้านี้ ก็ขอให้สนุกกับการเฉลิมฉลองนี้

แต่เทศกาลสงกรานต์ยังมีความสำคัญทางวัฒนธรรมที่ลึกซึ้งกว่านั้นด้วย ดังนั้น เราขออวยพรให้คุณโชคดีหากคุณปฏิบัติตามประเพณีดั้งเดิมของเทศกาลสงกรานต์ในปีใหม่ไทยนี้
