Hola! This weekend, Alex is in Barcelona for the 2024 Spanish Grand Prix.
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya marks the start of a European triple-header as we enter the heart of the Formula 1 season.
This track encompasses everything F1 has to offer: a long main straight, elevation changes, and a mix of high, medium, and low-speed corners.
Once the home of pre-season testing before a move to Bahrain, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is particularly well-known by Alex and the other drivers on the grid.
Sector 1 sets out with heavy braking into Turn 1 of 14 on this 4.657 km track, which leads into a sweeping uphill corner before the unforgiving Repsol right-hander.
A series of twists and turns follow at the Hermann Tilke-designed track ahead of the first DRS zone for a possible overtake at La Caixa.
Four more turns ensue as Sector Three finishes off with the best chance to see our No.23 flying past cars on the pit straight.
After the extremely unlucky ending in Montreal, we look forward to seeing Albono back racing around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya!
