Revealed: Your predictions for 2026!

Find out what Alex’s fanbase expect to see over the coming year

We asked for your predictions for 2026 earlier this month — and Alex’s fans have delivered in abundance.

Our Thai racer’s supporters certainly have plenty of opinions about how the upcoming campaign will pan out, ranging from the realistic to the somewhat ridiculous!

Let’s start with podiums, first and foremost. We received a remarkable number of messages suggesting that a podium finish is on the cards… so we’ll see if you can manifest that outcome into existence!

“Alex's first podium with Williams!”, predicted Kata Z, while Jessica C was even more optimistic, saying: “Alex will get three podiums in the first half of the season.”

We certainly hope you’re right Jessica. Meanwhile, Maimi B was even more specific about when that podium placing will arrive. “A podium first race back in Australia to give Williams a promising start to the year!,” she said — and she wasn’t the only person to suggest a big performance in Melbourne.

Liv P echoed those thoughts, too: “Alex will win the Australian GP and establish Williams dominance for the rest of the season.”

While we’re on the topic of optimism, there were plenty of submissions with even bigger dreams for 2026. Eve M’s message, for example, which read: “2026 WDC [World Drivers’ Champion] or at least finish top three and Williams will be WCC [World Constructors’ Champion].”

Victoria M was even more succinct with “WDC incoming”, while Ciara K threw an intriguing proposition into the mix — anticipating a “champion battle between you [Alex] and George [Russell].”

We would love to see that one play out, Ciara!

Giovana CS crossed over from podium predictions to merch requests with her entry, saying: “Not only is Alex getting a podium, but we're definitely getting a double Williams podium! And also we're for sure getting a 2.0 Albon Pets collection (please).”

Jacqueline B was on the new merch bandwagon too, suggesting: “A new sneaker drop perhaps?”

Elsewhere, Albono’s supporters had some great ideas for bespoke helmet designs over the coming campaign.

“Another iconic special helmet. Let's say a coconut or a fishbowl look this time!” requested Laura H, with Anees K focusing in on Alex’s next trip to Shanghai: “Have a Year of the Horse Helmet for the Chinese Grand Prix,” he said.

What’s under the lid prompted significant discussion, too, with plenty of messages focused on Alex’s hair.

“Alex will win at least one race this year, and Williams will fight for the top three of the Constructor’s Championship. Also, I want to see the blond hair come back,” said Rukpoom K, though Farhana M couldn’t disagree more.

“Albono is gonna cook this season, I can feel the pink pony podiums incoming,” she said, before adding: “Looking forward to a race win at the Singapore Grand Prix and no more hair bleaches please, keep the black hair king”.

Kishaa J also touched on AA23’s next visit to the Garden City, with a novel hair idea: “New hair colour for SG [Singapore] ( and it matches the SG helmet too),” she suggested.

It would be remiss not to feature one of the more absurd predictions we received, so how about this one from Jess B: “Everyone else will be disqualified from every race and Alex wins every race therefore winning the Championship. Please Alex, we believe in you diva."

Nice idea Jess, but we’re not sure that’s too likely!

And finally, this message was sent in by Robin R on 9th January: “This is the year to propose to Lily… nothing else will matter.”

Can we have the lottery numbers too please, Robin?!
