The opening months of 2025 have been largely positive for Alex — and our Thai racer is looking to extend that feelgood factor into the upcoming summer break.
Albono registered consecutive hauls at Silverstone and Spa-Francorchamps last month, but will be keen to add more points to his tally at this weekend’s Hungarian Grand Prix.
Having already recorded a trio of P5 placings and six other top-10 finishes, AA23 can certainly head to Mogyoród with a sense of optimism.
And the 29-year-old is clearly excited about what lies in store at the Hungaroring, as he revealed ahead of Round 14:
“I'm looking forward to wrapping up this first half of the season in Budapest,” he said.
“It's a challenging track with twisting corners and a flowing second sector, which feels amazing when you put everything together.”
Recent upgrades to Atlassian Williams Racing’s FW47 have also added to the sense of positivity going into the Hungarian GP.
“It will be interesting to see how the upgrade performs in different conditions at a tighter track, and we'll aim to take advantage of the three Free Practice sessions to learn as much as we can,” Alex explained.
“The team has made a lot of progress so far this season and it's exciting to see the work starting to pay off.
“Let's head into the summer break with some more points in the bag!”
