We asked Alex’s fans to send in their good luck messages for our Thai racer — and we’ve been inundated with entries!
Albono’s 2025 season gets under way this weekend, when he heads to Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix.
There have been an abundance of supportive comments ahead of Round 1, so we’ve picked out some of our favourite submissions from the AA23 community…
Support down under
There will be plenty of people cheering Alex on at the Albert Park Circuit, and his Australian fans have also been sending their best wishes before the race.
Imogen and Joy sent in a particularly informative message, saying:
“G'day Mate, we can't absolutely wait to see you tear up the track in Melbourne. Now before you go here are some classic Aussie slang words you must know.
“Arvo - afternoon, barbie - BBQ, thongs - flip flops.
“Also whilst you are in Australia you need to try Lamingtons, Shapes (bbq, chicken and pizza are the best ones), TimTams, Aussie meat pie, chicken parmy, smashed avo on toast and Vegemite.
“P.S don't forget to count your hits and not your misses and do the best you can with the time you've got.
“Good luck with the season ahead Alex, you're gonna absolutely crush it.
“Best wishes, Imogen and Joy.”
Elsewhere, Tayla D will be cheering Alex on in Melbourne this weekend:
“Alex, good luck on the 2025 season!,” she said.
“I can't wait to watch you race at Albert Park when I will attend my first ever Formula 1 race!
“Wishing you a better season this year and sending love and support your way, no matter the results!”
Backing from Thailand
Alex’s army of Thai fans always show their support for AA23 — and we received plenty of messages on this occasion, too.
As a fan from Thailand, I'm sending you all my best wishes for this year,” said Papawee N.
“May it be a year filled with success and everything you hope for.
“I'll be traveling to Japan to cheer you on, and I hope my support, along with the cheers of all the fans, will push you and your car to the performance you desire on the track.
Good luck, and see you in Japan!”
Chonticha C was similarly positive:
“Your tomorrow is waiting for today's you to grow.
“Enjoy this season to the fullest, stay physically and mentally healthy. I will always be cheering for you.”
All around the world
The good luck messages weren’t just limited to fans in Australia and Thailand, of course.
Woolie T from the United States offered his best wishes, saying the following:
“Good Luck, Alex! Wishing you an incredible start to the 2025 season!
“Your skill, determination, and resilience on the track are always inspiring, and I have no doubt you'll make the FW47 fly.
“Can't wait to see you push the limits and take on the competition in Australia. Go get 'em, Alex — full send!”
And fellow US-based fan Jordan S echoed those thoughts:
“I'm wishing you all the luck this year! You've got the talent, the motivation, and a supportive team, so luck is all you need.
“Being a fan is new to me, but hearing your story, seeing you drive, and seeing all the light you bring makes it easy to support you wholeheartedly!
“This year brings a new challenge and opportunity. I'm looking forward to seeing you and Carlos in Williams this year.
“I'm learning in my own career how to collaborate in ways that use everyone's strengths. I believe in your ability to bring Williams back to greatness with the entire team.
“But always remember to embrace your own superpowers and know when to put yourself first!
“You deserve all the success you'll undoubtedly achieve. Good luck and go Alex!”
Finally, Caleigh C from Canada summed the wider fan base’s thoughts up succinctly, when she said:
“Good luck Alex! Thank you for being such an inspiration, both as an athlete and a person.
“We're all rooting for you, you've got this!”
