After a jam-packed May that saw Alex race in Miami, Imola and Monaco, we crossed into June last weekend at the Spanish GP.
There’s a slightly calmer start to this month as far as Albono is concerned, with a few days off to recuperate before the action moves to North America in a couple of weeks’ time.
Things are sure to hot up once our Thai racer is in Canada, though, ahead of a visit to Austria in Round 11 — the first in a run of six straight European Grands Prix.
Here’s what to keep an eye out for this June…

13th-15th June: Canadian Grand Prix

Alex will be looking to get back amongst the points in Montreal, after damage to his FW47 meant he was unable to finish the Spanish Grand Prix.
However, that was only his second blank from nine attempts — and he can take inspiration from a previous stint in Quebec with Williams Racing.
AA23 secured an impressive P7 finish at the Canadian GP back in 2023, so certainly has the experience required to put in a performance during Round 10.
The Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is famed for its high-speed straights and challenging chicanes, so expect plenty of excitement at one of Formula 1’s most popular tracks.

16th June: Lily’s birthday!

Albono celebrated his birthday back in March, but now it’s the turn of his partner Lily!
The professional golfer turns 26 on 16th June (despite Wikipedia incorrectly listing it as 17th June!) — and we’re sure that Alex has something special in mind to mark her big day.
Stay tuned to his Instagram for any updates on what the couple get up to midway through the month, in the week following AA23’s time in Canada.

16th June: F1 movie premiere

It's looking like 16th June is going to be a busy day for Alex!
Not only is it Lily's birthday, it's also the premiere of 'F1' — the much-anticipated Formula 1 movie starring Brad Pitt.
Albono will be attendance at the film's premiere in New York, ahead of a global release date of 25th June.

27th-29th June: Austrian Grand Prix

June concludes with a visit to the Red Bull Ring, where Alex will battle for points against the scenic backdrop of the Styrian mountains.
He achieved a P4 finish at the eye-catching venue back in 2020 with Red Bull Racing, and would surely be delighted with a repeat performance this time around.
It won’t be easy, though, with drivers having to contend with a frantic set of fast straights, tight corners, and elevation changes, on a track that only contains 10 corners.
High speeds and short laps will be the order of the day at the Austrian GP, which should guarantee entertainment for spectators heading to Spielberg.
