Alex is all set for the fourth round of the 2026 Formula 1 season, with the Team AA23 arriving in Florida for the Miami Grand Prix after an extended break from racing.

It’s been over a month since the last time cars hit the track, giving Alex and the team valuable time to regroup, analyse and push forward development on the FW48 back at the factory.

"It’s exciting to be back in Miami after the early break,” he said.

“The team have been working exceptionally hard back at the factory, and it will be good to get back on track and test out what we’ve been working on over the past few weeks.

“The regulation tweaks the FIA has brought will bring another element of complexity to the Sprint weekend, so I'm glad to see that FP1 has been extended to give us a better chance of understanding the changes.

“This weekend is going to be about who is able to get on top of everything the quickest, so it should make for an interesting race ahead.”

The Miami International Autodrome presents a very different challenge, with its temporary street circuit layout winding its way around the Hard Rock Stadium complex.

A mix of long straights and slower, technical sections – including a tight sequence through Turns 14 to 16 – puts the emphasis on braking stability and traction, while the long back straight offers a prime overtaking opportunity.

It’s also the second Sprint weekend of the year, plus there’s a slightly revised format with an extended Free Practice 1 session.
