After weeks of voting and more than 20,000 votes cast across the tournament, we have our winner.

Your Pick of the Lids champion is the 2022 Japan helmet, which secured a 54% victory over the 2026 Standard design in a closely fought final.

From the very start, the original Sakura uplift stood out. Blending Alex’s base design with delicate cherry blossom detailing, it struck the perfect balance between identity and tradition – and it’s a combination that resonated with fans all the way through the bracket.

An honourable mention 2026 Standard helmet, which proved a worthy finalist. A modern classic, its clean white and chrome design powered through the early rounds – maybe this one was simply too new to take the crown right now.
