As the year draws to a close, Alex can look back on a successful 2025 that delivered highlights in abundance.
Our Thai racer far surpassed his previous points totals with Atlassian Williams Racing, putting 73 points on the board and helping the team to a P5 finish in the Constructors' Championship.
There were plenty of great performances along the way, so we've picked out photos from 12 memorable Grands Prix across the last 12 months...
Australian GP
Alex had every reason to be happy while down under, after kicking things off in style at a particularly wet Albert Park Circuit.
He secured a first-ever P5 finish with Williams in Melbourne, to set the tone for what was to come throughout 2025.
Chinese GP
There was plenty to smile about in China, too — the home nation of Alex's partner Lily, of course.
Albono backed up his strong showing in Australia with a P7 at the Shanghai Circuit, marking his best start to a Formula 1 season.
Japanese GP
The whole team at Atlassian Williams Racing play a huge part in Alex's successes — and that was the case once again in Suzuka.
AA23 reached Q3 in Qualifying for the third successive race before securing another top-ten finish, this time coming home in P9.
Saudi Arabian GP
After a tougher visit to Bahrain in Round 4, Alex was determined to get back among the points at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.
He certainly came up with the goods on that front — finishing two places higher than he started in P9, while taking his personal tally to 20 points for the season.
Miami GP
A fresh take on the drivers' parade saw Alex and team-mate Carlos Sainz get behind the wheel of a giant Lego F1 car in Miami!
But when the serious business of Sunday's Grand Prix got underway, AA23 delivered — matching his Round 1 performance in Australia by claiming a second P5 of the campaign.
Emilia Romagna GP
Alex's fitness coach Patrick Harding always has our Thai racer in top condition for race weekends — and the duo's preparation must have been spot on for the Emilia Romagna GP!
Albono claimed yet another P5 in Imola, to continue his sensational start to the season.
Monaco GP
It was a case of 'teamwork makes the dream work' in Monaco, as Alex and Carlos combined for an impressive tactical performance at one of F1's most glamorous venues.
The result was double-points for Williams, with AA23 placing in P9 and Carlos one place behind.
British GP
Alex's friends and family watched on as he produced a commendable performance during Williams' home race at Silverstone.
The 29-year-old had to contend with challenging and changeable conditions, but equalled his best-ever British Grand Prix result by placing P8.
Belgian GP
There was yet more rain during Alex's stint in the Ardennes Forest, but it didn't stop him delivering his best result since Imola.
A P5 Qualifying position set AA23 up perfectly for Sunday's race — and he converted that advantage into a sixth-place finish at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
Dutch GP
Albono was refreshed and reinvigorated after the summer break, as he produced a remarkable climb through the field in Zandvoort.
A starting position of P15 proved to be no barrier to success, with Alex climbing ten places to claim his fourth P5 finish of the year — before helping Carlos debrief, as pictured above.
Italian GP
Alex and the team were in high spirits after the Italian GP — and with good reason.
A P7 finish was secured after another impressive climb in Monza, this time from 14th on the grid.
United States GP
The United States GP saw Alex gain his first Sprint points with Williams, as a productive Saturday in Austin yielded a P6 placing.
That took Albono's tally to 73 points for the season, after his 12th return of 2025.
Abu Dhabi GP
This month's Abu Dhabi GP brought the curtain down on a thoroughly enjoyable 2025 campaign for Alex and Williams.
With P8 and P5 finishes in the Drivers' and Constructors' Standings, respectively, the team certainly look to be on an upward trajectory heading into 2026.
Let's hope that an even better season lies ahead next year!
