Alex is coming off the back of an action-packed June, with three races in Spain, Canada and Austria over the last month.
July shouldn’t be quite as hectic for our Thai racer, but there’s still two Grands Prix for him to contend with, as well as a Fan Zone appearance tomorrow.
Here’s everything you need to know about what Albono is up to over the next few weeks.
2nd July: Atlassian Williams Racing Fan Zone Q&A
If you’re based in the United Kingdom — or if you’ve come over for the British Grand Prix — then make sure to head down to the Atlassian Williams Racing Fan Zone on Wednesday 2nd July.
Alex is set to appear at the event and will be taking part in a live Q&A on stage at 2pm local time (BST).
The Fan Zone is happening at Below the Lights in Piccadilly Circus (48 Regents Street, London, W1B 5RA) and you can find out all the key information here.
There’s loads to enjoy alongside AA23’s appearance, from simulators and show cars to merch stalls and a host of other exciting activities.
4th-6th July: British Grand Prix
Atlassian Williams Racing’s home race takes place this weekend — and Alex will be looking to put points on the board at the British GP.
June was a difficult month on that front for Albono, after a series of technical issues saw him unable to finish his last trio of Grands Prix.
But there is perhaps no better place to bounce back than Silverstone, where AA23 has enjoyed a series of impressive drives in the past.
He’s placed in the top 10 there on four occasions, including a P8 with Williams in 2023 and a P9 last season.
On a track that is renowned for its fast corners and high-speed layout, Alex will hope that Round 12 is a memorable one for him and the team.
25th-27th July: Belgian Grand Prix
Albono is set to finish off July with a visit to Spa for the Belgian Grand Prix.
There are few more thrilling venues in Formula 1, thanks — in part — to the Ardennes forest’s remarkably unpredictable weather.
But the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is a fantastic track in its own right, with some wonderfully dramatic elevation changes and legendary corners.
Alex placed 10th during his first trip to Belgium with Williams in 2022, and will hope to match or better that performance when this year’s edition rolls around in a few weeks’ time.
