Here’s how the semi-final match-ups are shaping up:
The first semi-final is an all-Sakura showdown. The 2025 Japan helmet, designed by Andy Werner, continues to impress with its clean blend of Alex’s 2025 base identity and delicate blossom detailing.
Journey so far – Ro32: 67% vs 2025 Abu Dhabi, Ro16: 58% vs 2024 Standard, QF: 57% vs 2025 Singapore
Standing in its way is the original Sakura favourite – the 2022 Japan helmet. One of the most dominant performers in the bracket so far, it followed up earlier landslide wins with another commanding result, taking 78% of the vote against the 2024 Las Vegas design.
Journey so far – Ro32: 97% vs 2019 Standard, Ro16: 48% vs 2022 Singapore, QF: 78% vs 2024 Las Vegas
The second semi-final tells a very different story, one of fine margins and last-gasp progression.
The 2022 Silverstone helmet, the fan-loved “Albon Zoo” design, just managed to hold off the 2024 Silverstone evolution, squeezing through with 52% of the vote.
Journey so far – Ro32: 72% vs 2023 Miami, Ro16: 58% vs 2023 Abu Dhabi, QF: 52% vs 2024 Silverstone
It now faces the 2026 Standard design, a modern classic defined by its white and chrome finish. After strong performances earlier in the bracket, it was pushed to the absolute limit in the quarter-finals, edging past the 2024 China panda helmet with just 51% of the vote.
Journey so far – Ro32: 84% vs 2018 F2, Ro16: 58% vs 2025 Miami, QF: 51% vs 2024 China
Two places in the final are up for grabs. Cast your votes now and help decide which designs move one step closer to being crowned the ultimate lid.
