Alex will be familiar with the challenges facing him in Hungary, having driven in Mogyoród on multiple occasions.
His first visit to the Hungaroring came all the way back in 2013, when driving for Epic Racing in Formula Renault 2.0 Euro.
Another two years at that level with KTR saw further trips to the track, before Alex returned as part of his 2016 GP3 series campaign — with impressive results.
AA23 enjoyed a weekend to remember in Round 8 of that season, when he placed first and recorded the fastest lap while racing for ART Grand Prix.
That triumph was then replicated in Formula 2, with another first-place finish in Hungary two years later.
And the step up to Formula 1 brought more success for Alex in Mogyoród.
A P10 finish saw him claim a point for Toro Rosso in 2019, before he achieved P5 with Red Bull Racing the following season.
Alex is yet to break into the top 10 with Williams Racing, though, having just missed out by finishing P11 last term.
He will be keen to go one better this time around, when the Hungarian Grand Prix gets under way this weekend.
