WHAT A MOVE ALEX!
That's P9 after passing ANT with a great run around the inside of Curve Grande into the braking zone.
ANT pushed him a little wide onto the grass out of T2, but Albono bravely kept his cool to grab the position!

The Haas driver has broken DRS, however, so Alex will have a decent gap whenever OCO pits.

Alex is starting from the seventh row at the Temple of Speed after struggling with the tyres in Quali.
Encouraging Free Practice race runs had Albono speaking positively about his Sunday hopes, though.
