Alex crosses the chequered flag in P18. It was always going to be a difficult drive starting from the pit lane with our No.23 fighting an up-hill battle from lights out.

Alex has a quick snap of oversteer into turn 4 and runs off into the gravel. No visible damage and is able to return to the track - still in P18. LAP 61/66

Approaching the closing stages here in Barcelona. Alex currently running P18 and is catching RIC in front. LAP 54/66

Alex pits for more fresh soft tyres and comes out in P19 - 8 seconds behind the RB of RIC. LAP 45/66

The car feels OK. It's just I'm lacking a bit of front in turn 1. It feels like the front is too cold.

Here we go, FP2 is underway in Spain... Alex is straight on track with a set of hard tyres fitted.

Good afternoon from the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya! We are back for the second practice session of today - FP2 in 10 minutes...

Alex's first hour behind the wheel at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is complete, ending the session in P10!

Alex is gathering some long run data with medium tyres fitted... Five minutes of FP1 remaining.

The debris has now been cleared so we are back underway with Alex immediately out on track!

FP1 comes to a halt as there is some debris on the track. Alex returns to the garage...

Okay Alex, so we'll box this lap, and we'll drive through the pitlane just to get the temperatures down a little bit more.

A new quickest lap of the session for Alex as he manages a 1:15.417, which slots him in at P6.

Albono rolls back on track for his second stint of FP1 on soft tyres.

Back to the garage as Alex and the team make some adjustments.

Alex records a new best lap time - 1:16.976 - which is enough for P10.

Another push and improvement from Alex as he sets a time of 1:17.124.

Alex sets a 1:17.432 on his first flying lap of the day.

Go switch to go push.

And the FW46 of Albono rolls out on track. Here we go!
